The E-2000™ Backplane combines the advantages of the E-2000™ connector system and an optimized guiding mechanism for secure backplane connection without mechanical stresses on the PC board. The basic components are single connectors mounted on special bridges available for 2 and 6 places. The E-2000™ backplane offers: active push-pull retention - backplane modules designed respecting IEC 1070-4-100 for metric backplane system - high mating stability and repeatability.
The E-2000™ Backplane combines the advantages of the E-2000™ system and an optimale guiding mechanism for secure backplane connection. When mated, the PCB connector is retained in the mating adapter eliminating all the stress on the PC board. Existing components can be upgraded to the backplane version through the use of a simple clip bridge and an adapter latch. Any E-2000™ simplex connector can be mounted on the print board adapter. (Only requirement is replacement of the lever).
